Simple steps to Take Care of Your Watch Strap

Leather Strap

  1. Remove the strap from the watch before cleaning.
  2. Wipe down the strap with a dry cloth.
  3. Use a soft cloth and a little warm water with a small amount of mild soap to gently wash the leather. (DO NOT USE DETERGENT).
  4. Use another soft cloth to dry the leather.
  5. Allow the strap to dry completely.
  6. Apply some leather conditioner.

Rubber Strap

  1. Pour a cupful of warm water into a small bowl and add a few drops of dish detergent.
  2. Dip the edge of cloth into the soapy water and squeeze out excess water with your fingertips.
  3. Rub the damp cloth over your rubber watchband to remove dirt and grime.
  4. Rinse in some clean water and dry with a soft cloth.
  5. Stainless Steel Bracelet
  6. Start by wiping the bracelet with a soft cloth to remove initial layers of dirt, dust or grime.
  7. Dip the bracelet warm soapy water.
  8. Gently scrub the stainless-steel bracelet with a soft brush.
  9. Rinse with warm water.
  10. Dry with a soft cloth and shine.

Nylon Strap

  1. Fill a small bowl with warm water.
  2. Add mild washing soap and agitate to mix.
  3. Remove the strap from the watch.
  4. Place the strap into the soapy water and allow it to soak for several hours.
  5. After a few hours, use the soapy water and scrub the strap with a soft brush.
  6. Finally, rinse in clean water and allow to dry completely.

NATO Strap

  1. Wash a NATO strap in the same way as for a Nylon strap.
  2. It is essential to allow them to dry naturally.
  3. Never apply high heat.
  4. Never use an electric iron on Nylon or NATO straps.
